Boosting Your Spiritual WiFi: How Quiet Changed Everything
Maybe you don’t need more input—you need more stillness.
This Lent, I felt led to try something different.
Instead of giving something up like sugar or social media, I gave up constant noise.
No background music. No podcasts filling every gap.
At first, it felt uncomfortable.
But slowly, something shifted.
I began to notice God’s voice more clearly—not audibly, but through peace, clarity, and gentle nudges in my spirit.
Scripture shows us that Jesus intentionally withdrew to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16, Luke 6:12–13).
Even in a busy, demanding life, He prioritized stillness.
As moms, we are constantly needed, constantly moving, constantly thinking.
But our souls still need space to breathe.
And sometimes, the breakthrough we’re craving isn’t found in doing more—but in quieting more.
What would it look like to intentionally create quiet in your daily rhythm—and what might God be waiting to say in that space?
