When God Made You | Read Aloud 🍀

When God Made You is the sweetest poem-story! One of my fellow foster-parent buddies read this story each night to my little girl before she joined our family. It is one of her all- time favorite stories. The colorful illustrations and poetry bring the life the truths that God perfectly designed each one of us before we were born and that we are made in his glorious image! This is an ideal book to discuss just how valuable each an every one of our children are to us, and more importantly, to God.

P.S. I also like how the main character’s buddy/caregiver/ dad is of a different ethnic background than she is- my kids can relate to that and so can many foster parent families!
