While preparing my Black History Month read-alouds, I found myself wondering how so many historical figures endured overwhelming hardship. The same answer echoed again and again: faith in God.

As a single mom facing uncertainty this week, I’m clinging to the same truth that sustained biblical heroes — God is faithful in every generation.

In this post, I share the scriptures and stories that are strengthening my heart right now and reminding me that God still provides, still leads, and still keeps His promises.
