Whose Voice Are You Listening To? Learning to Recognize the Good Shepherd

In a world full of competing voices, Jesus reminds us of something comforting: His sheep know His voice.

If you’re a busy mom, you probably hear dozens of voices every day.

The voice of expectations.

The voice of comparison.

The voice of fear telling you that you’re failing.

But Jesus offers a powerful truth in John 10:1–15.

He is the Good Shepherd, and His sheep recognize His voice.

God’s voice brings peace and clarity.

The enemy’s voice brings confusion and discouragement.

The more time we spend with God—through Scripture, prayer, and quiet moments—the more familiar His voice becomes.

Instead of being led by fear or comparison, we learn to follow the Shepherd toward the good He has prepared for us.

Today’s question is simple but powerful:

Whose voice are you listening to?
