Do You Trust God Enough to Rest? Relearning Limits in a New Season
Rest isn’t weakness—it’s trust. This new season of work has been a gift—but it’s also revealed how quickly I default to striving. Staying up later, doing more, pushing harder.
And yet, in the middle of it, God keeps whispering: Do you trust Me enough to rest?
Psalm 127:2 reframes productivity in a powerful way—reminding us that God is the one who provides, not our endless effort.
And Exodus 20:8-11 calls us back to something countercultural: a full stop. A holy pause.
Rest is not about having less to do. It’s about trusting God with what remains undone.
Inner work question: What would change in my life if I truly believed God could do more in my rest than I can in my striving?
