God’s Very Good Idea 💡| Read Aloud

God’s Very Good Idea is one of my favorite multicultural read aloud stories for preschool and elementary age children. This story weaves in the beautiful story of the gospel in a way that is accessible to small children and allows them to examine the truth about the effects of sin on relationships.

This Christ-centered unity-building story is a great foundational text to use before you introduce stories that might involve racism and other isms. Giving children a context about what should be, what is, why it is, what we can do about it, and how God provides hope is CRUCIAL. It provides a healthy base from which to explore these topics.
