Susan Laughs | Read Aloud | Physical Disabilities

Susan Laughs is a great story to read aloud. With it’s simple language and easily relatable main character, children can learn they share much in common with Susan. It has a surprise ending- children discover that Susan has something unique about her- she is in a wheelchair.  I love that this story helps children relate to others by creating bridges of commonalities- activities, emotions, likes, and dislikes. 🙂
